Every once in awhile, someone crosses my path and I just know I’m going to like this person forever.
Happened to me a couple of years ago when Elizabeth came into our school as a student teacher. What a natural. So wise beyond her years, great sense of humor, positive energy, and has her own fun style. :) Luckily, we were able to hire her before anyone else found out about this gem of an educator. Last year, I marveled at her grace as she balanced the demands of being a new teacher in the classroom while simultaneously planning her beautiful wedding. This year, I feel so honored to get to work with someone as intelligent, poised, and creative as Elizabeth.
Lucky for us, she agreed to take a little time out from her busy day to model this upcycled sweater beret for us. Isn’t she adorable!!!
This is a super quick and easy project that can be made in under an hour. Even Elizabeth could do this!
All you need is a sweater that has seen better days, some pins, a sharp pair of scissors and a tape measure.
As usual, pin it and leave a comment to have your name entered to win this cute beret. The winner will be announced on Saturday, March 1, 2014.
Enjoy your weekend!
