I REALLY like these ones since they’re not dresses, which always look very good on you, but do me no good (other than admiring your creativeness) since I don’t wear dresses. I will definitely be using several of these ideas! Outstanding as usual!

Got your link through a post on Knitting Paradise. So happy I found you! You are one very talented and creative lady. I will start with the mittens, but first I need to go to the local thrift store to buy a sweater!

  27. Debbie Buch says:

How did you finish the top edge of the legwarmers (from the sweater sleeves) without sewing?

    • Hi Debbie,
The top of the leg warmers are actually the sleeve edge so no finishing necessary. The sweater was 80% wool so when it was washed, it felted and made the fibers tight enough so the other edge won’t fray either.
      Hope this helps!
      Beth

I love you’re ideas! I can’t wait to try them out! I do a lot of fabric\clothes recycling. I don’t have any before photos but I can send you some after…

Merci pour ces bonnes idées de recyclage pour les pull-over.
La casquette et les mittènes me plaisent beaucoup.

I am so thankful I came across you site. What you do with clothes is amazing. I am so inspired that today I spent $10 at our local $1.00 Thrift Shop. I found several sweaters and larger sized skirts and dresses that I plan to make into various items as you have shown on your site. Thank you so much for sharing these tutorials.

  34. anna says:

Hi, you seem to have a lot of experience altering knitted fabric. Do you have any advice for adding length to a cardigan that has shrunk in the wash? Garment shrunk in length but not in width. Frustrating!

    Love your website
