My friend, Linda, is a true Fashionista. Getting dressed is her art form. Her body is her canvas. She is a master at putting together colors, textures and patterns. When I was lucky enough to work in the same building with her, I would eagerly look forward to seeing what new and interesting clothing/jewelry combination she had put together each day. I’ve always admired her fashion sense.
The first time I ever laid eyes on her, she had just returned from one of her world travels wearing a one piece sunflower jumpsuit. I knew instantly that I was going to love this woman.
Over the years we have shared so many fun adventures and my respect and admiration for Linda grows every day.
So to honor her love of fashion, on Day Three of The Week of the Refashioned Skirt, I’ve decided to take some risks in the color department. I’m going to step out of my safe color zone and try some new combinations.
Which combination so you like best?

Wow, great pics. I am not a fan of the green shirt but I really do like all the others, but since I HAD to pick a favorite it would be the burgundy shirt. Great post. Thank you. I LOVE the skirt!!!!

Thanks, Louise!
Looks like the burgundy shirt might be the winner.

I love all the patterns of these thrift store skirts I’m finding to refashion, too. This one is perfect for fall. So many possibilities! I’m going to wear the combination that is winning in the poll today when I leave for school in about 40 minutes.
Have a great day!

LOVE the props to Linda!!! Once again, a great job – I voted for the green jacket, though the burgundy shirt looks great, too…can’t wait to see it in person today 🙂
Thanks Valerie!!!
The skirt is beautiful and burgundy shirt makes a very nice outfit.

Thank you so much!
It was really hard to pick my favourite – I eventually went for the teal shirt because the colour looks so nice on you and it’s a bit of a contrast to the skirt, but I really liked all the other combinations as well.
I actually did wear the teal shirt with the skirt yesterday. Thank you for your nice comments!
